'The Hunger Games' Star Jennifer Lawrence Will Have A Cameo in 'Dumb and Dumber To'

Jennifer Lawrence will have a cameo role in "Dumb and Dumber To."

According to the Hollywood Reporter the Oscar winning actress was on the set of the film in Atlanta and will play a young version of Kathleen Turner's character.

The publication also reported that the set to Lawrence's film "The Hunger Games Mockingjay" is nearby and sources have said that the entire cast of "Mockingjay" visited the set of "Dumb and Dumber To."

The addition of Lawrence to the sequel comes as no surprise as the actress has become one of the most sought after talents in recent years. Additionally, she recently said the first "Dumb and "Dumber" was among her favorite films. During an appearence on the Jimmy Fallon show she said, "I know every word to 'Dumb and Dumber,' 'Step Brothers,' and 'Anchorman.'"

Lawrence recently signed on to star in the remake to John Steinback's "East of Eden." She is currently working on the third and fourth installment to "The Hunger Games" series. The actress has recently been seen in "Silver Linings Playbook," "X-Men: First Class," "Like Crazy" and "Winter's Bone." She will next be seen in David O. Russell's "American Hustle" and the next installment to "The Hunger Games" saga.

"Dumber and Dumber To" is set to star Jim Carrey, Jeff Daniels, Rob Riggle, Steve Tom and Turner. The film will be directed by Bobby Farrelly and Peter Farrelly. The movie was written by Sean Anders and will be released in 2014 by Universal.
