Manchester United will look to get back on track with its Premier League title defense when it takes on West Bromwich Albion on Saturday.
United is coming off a huge 1-0 win over Liverpool in the Capital One Cup, but has struggled this season the Premier League. The team currently holds a record of two wins, one draw, and two losses on the season and is struggling to keep pace with some of the top clubs in the league.
In its most recent league match, United was destroyed 4-1 by Manchester City. Many attributed the team's struggles to the absence of forward Robin Van Persie. However, it seems that the forward may be available for Saturday's match.
"Robin will be back involved somewhere," Coach David Moyes said, according to ESPN. "Whether we use him, whether we don't, he has trained today. He is back fit and we will see exactly where he is."
Another major question for the club regards Shinji Kagawa. The Japanese international was crucial to the team's win over Liverpool earlier this week and was also the motor behind a 4-2 victory over Leverkusen. The midfielder has not gotten much time in league play but could be slated for more appearances after his recent performances.
West Bromwich enters the game with one win, two draws, and two losses. Despite the start, Coach Steve Clarke is confident in his team's chances.
"I hope every player I've got goes to Old Trafford with the same feeling as me -- that we can win," he said, according to ESPN. "It's a game where the pressure is not on us because everyone expects Manchester United to beat us. But that doesn't mean we don't expect to go there and do well."
Prediction: United wins 2-0.
