Due to the devastation that happened in the last weeks in various states of the Mexican Republic caused by hurricanes Manuel and Ingrid, the artistic community of Mexico gathered for a musical project in support of victims.

With collaboration of artists such as Lila Downs, Guadalupe Pineda, Fey, Reik and Noel Schajris, the project "Voces por México" is a production that includes 36 hits and, according to People en Español, profits will go entirely to the Mexican Red Cross to aid victims of the storms.

In a press conference, singer Fey pointed out that the invitation to participate in said project is a way to guarantee that the help will reach victims, once again saying that 100 percent of the profits of the sales of the album will be given to the Red Cross.

"Sometimes we don't know how to help, or how to trust or know where the aid is going. It's wonderful that we've been invited to be a part of this project, it's a transparent and safe way to help because the Red Cross is involved (...) 100% of everything the album makes will be sent as aid, there are no profits for any of us, only for the Red Cross who will send it to the people that need it right now," pointed out the Mexican singer.

"We Mexicans never lose hope," said Lila Downs, a world-renowned singer of Mexican folk music. In Mexico, various companies organized to expedite help for the victims of Manuel, reaffirming their help for Oaxaca state that is currently in danger due to a new cyclone forming in the proximity of its coasts.
