Kim Kardashian & Baby North West News: Sources Say Kim is 'Bored' Staying Home, Misses the Limelight Since Giving Birth

Kim Kardashian has gone through major changes in the past few months.

She died her hair blonde, gave birth to her first child North West and has uncharacteristically shielded herself from the public eye. According to inside sources, although the 32-year-old reality TV personality enjoys being a new mother, she has not yet adjusted to being a stay-at-home mom. Insiders say she's "bored" and misses the days when she was constantly hounded by paparazzi, RadarOnline.com reports, exclusively.

"Kim loves being a mom and spending all of her time with the baby," the source said. "But she's really bored! She misses going out all the time to shop or eat and have people in public fawn all over her."

In addition, there's speculation that many of Kardashian's lifestyle changes are being manipulated by her hip-hop star boyfriend Kanye West, who supposedly prefers her to stay out of the limelight and become more selective with her future endeavors.

"Kim really likes the attention she gets from people when she goes out in public or even online, but since Kanye wants her to be more selective about what she's doing it isn't as interactive for her and she misses her old life. She wouldn't trade the baby for anything, of course, but she is saying she is bored right now."

While Kardashian has taken some time off to be with her new child, she's of course still been filming "Keeping up with the Kardashians," which she's really enjoying, according to sources. 

"Even though it's all pretend Kim really like being in front of the camera."

Earlier this month, Kim seemed overjoyed to return to shoot a Christmas special for her reality show and return to work. She posted photos of herself on Instagram while she was on the set of the Kardashian Christmas video shoot at their Calabasas mansion on Sept. 17. She also tweeted a message about the Christmas special, writing "Long beautiful work day with the family! Shot a very fun Christmas special! Can't wait to share more later! Night! Xo"
