Sofía Vergara Shows Miley Cyrus How Twerking is Done [PHOTO]

Although she failed to win her fourth consecutive Emmy nomination, Colombian actress Sofía Vergara decided to have fun anyway.

The 41-year-old star shared several pictures with her followers on Instagram, including photos from the after-parties. In one of them, the "Modern Family" star can be seen twerking her Vera Wang dress, the Huffington Post reported. "Miley Cyrus this is where the twerk was invented. Colombia!," Vergara captioned the picture.

In this year's ceremony, Vergara was nominated for the fourth time as "Best Supporting Actress in a Comedy Series" for her role as Gloria Delgado-Pritchett on ABC's "Modern Family."

She competed  against co-star and 2012 winner Julie Bowen, Mayim Bialik ("The Big Bang Theory"), Jane Lynch ("Glee"), Jane Krakowski ("30 Rock"), Anna Chlumsky ("Veep") and Merritt Wever ("Nurse Jackie") who took the award home.

During 2012's award ceremony, Vergara had a wardrobe malfunction just 20 minutes before "Modern Family" was announced winner. She laughed at the situation and shared pictures of her Zuhair Murad teal cut-out gown through her Twitter page.

That incident didn't stop her from having fun alongside her 19 family members that joined her at the after party. "I brought a lot of people from my family. They wanted to come here with me. There are 19 people, and they love coming here with me, so we have a great time," Vergara told Extra, according to Voxxi.

Vergara seems to be having fun despite rumors suggesting she may have called off her engagement with fiancé Nick Loeb. The couple reportedly had "an explosive fight" while on vacation in the Hamptons.

"Sofia rowed with Nick in front of everyone at the party last week. She said she is fed up with his wandering eye," said a source, according to the Daily Mail.

Vergara and Loeb got engaged during the actress' 40th birthday party last year. Loeb apparently proposed while the entourage was visiting the Mayan archaeological ruins of Chichen Itza in Mexico.

"They have split up before because of rumours of him cheating and she had heard from a close friend that he had cheated again. She's not prepared to put up with it any more. They have reconciled after rows before, but this one finished nastily so it's doubtful they'll get back together this time," the source added.

The couple met at a Golden Globes Party in 2010. They started dating in the same year. Apparently, the couple broke up in May only to reunite weeks later.
