Juventus will look to jump back into first place when it takes on Chievo Verona in the Serie A on Wednesday.
The reigning Italian champs are off to a solid start and currently sit in a three-way tie for third place with just 10 points; the team has compiled three wins and one draw thus far.
Juventus is coming off a huge 2-1 win over Hellas Verona that featured a goal from Fernando Llorente. The Spanish striker had not started a game up to that point and was thrilled to be able to find the back of the net in his debut.
"I didn't expect to score in my first game," Llorente said, according to ESPN. "I'm pleased with the goal and for the team, who won, which is the most important thing. I was relaxed. I just needed time to get into form and I knew that I would have to work hard."
The win was a huge relief for the team as it had gone two straight matches without a victory; the more recent draw was a 1-1 tie against Copenhagen in the first Champions League match. Coach Antonio Conte expressed frustration with his team's inability to finish chances.
"I do not think we have ever created so many opportunities to score in one single game before during my period as Juventus coach," he said, according to ESPN. "During my career I have learnt that creating at least 10 glorious opportunities to score is not enough to win games if you don't put the ball in.
Prediction: Juventus pulls off a 2-0 win.
