Singer Fergie and husband actor Josh Duhamel took to Twitter to share with her fans a picture of their adorable son, Axl Jack, who was born on Aug. 29. The 38-year-old Black Eyed Peas frontwoman captioned the photo, "Hello, world! #daddyandmommymademedothis #whatahashtag," Latina.com reported.
Duhamel tweeted the same picture, which he captioned "Go Bison!" to show his son's support for North Dakota State University's football team.
Back in February, the couple announced on Twitter they were expecting their first child. "Josh & Me & BABY makes three!!! #mylovelybabybump," tweeted Fergie, along with a photoshopped pic of herself and Duhamel as toddlers.
"Fergie and Me and BABY makes three. #MyLovelyBabyBump," Duhamel also tweeted .
The proud-father-to-be revealed the baby's gender during an appearance at "Live! With Kelly and Michael" on July 16. The 40-year-old-actor participated on the segment called "DU OR DON'T, PART II: BABY EDITION," where co-host Kelly Rippa asked him to choose between two different colored onesies, Hollywood Life reported.
"Pink or blue," Rippa asked him. Duhamel took a small pause and finally revealed the news, "It's a boy!"
In talks with People, the actor opened up about his childhood and confessed he was "a little s-. I was really a kid who spent most of the time outside, catching turtles and frogs and stuff like that," said Duhamel. "That's pretty much all I did as a kid," he added.
He also talked about raising a son in the spotlight of Hollywood. "It's really important to us that we don't raise an entitled little brat," he said.
"We want to raise a kid who's confident, compassionate, and it's really important that we do that, so it's important that I set a good example for him," Duhamel continued.
