Saorise Ronan is rumored to appear in the upcoming "Star Wars: Episode VII."
According to Latino Review, the British Actress auditioned for a key role in the film. However, the unidentified source could not reveal which character Ronan read for. "Saoirse Ronan recently passed on the role of Wanda Maximoff, The Scarlet Witch, in The Avengers: Age of Ultron, so you can speculate all you want since Star Wars and Marvel are under the same Disney brand. I tried to find out what Ronan went in but they wouldn't tell me. During the conversation what was very interesting was that there will be a female villain part as well. NOW I'm not saying Ronan went in for that part, for all you know Ronan went in for the Solo daughter," Latino Review reported.
"Kick-Ass" star Chloe Grace Moretz has also been rumored for a role in "Star Wars" so there is a chance that these youngsters may be competing for the same role.
Ronan came to fame in 2007 when she received an Academy Award for her role in "Atonement." She later starred in "The Lovely Bones," "City of Ember," "Hanna" and "The Way Back." Ronan was recently seen in Neil Jordan's "Byzantium" and "Violet and Daisy." She will next be seen in Kevin Macdonald's "How I Live Now" alongside Tom Holland.
"Star Wars: Episode VII" has been casting throughout the summer. Zac Efron, Alex Pettyfer and Ryan Gosling have been among the many actors to have reportedly auditioned for the film. Additionally, Carrie Fisher, Harrison Ford, and Mark Hamill have all been rumored to reprise their roles from the original trilogy.
"Star Wars: Episode VII" is slated for a late 2015 release, but there has been no confirmation on the date or season that the film will be released in. The film will be directed by J.J Abrams, and produced by Kathleen Kennedy.
