The wedding rumor reel is running at high speed with Angelina Jolie and Brad expected to official tie the knot this weekend.
What is confirmed are preparations for a "huge party," according to the Daily Mail. Guests for the party include Brad's family who has arrived at France's Chateau Miraval. Another indicator is the maker of Jolie's $250,000 engagement ring, Robert Procop. The couple's friend George Clooney is also set to attend, as he's spends time in his Lake Como, Italy home.
The couple, notably known as "Brangelina," announced their engagement last April following seven years together and six children.
"We don't know anything about it," said Patrick Mareschi, deputy culture secretary of the nearby village of Correns to Reuters. "Under French law couples have to get married at the town hall. Unlike with a religious wedding, there's no way a couple can hold a civil ceremony at their own home."
Pitt previously stated the pair has no intention to get married until everyone is allowed to marry, meaning the legalization of same-sex marriage.
"We made this declaration some time ago that we weren't going to [get married] till everyone can," said Pitt last January. "But I don't think we'll be able to hold out...it means something to me, too, to make that kind of commitment."
Pitt would reiterate his reason during an appearance on Ellen in Sept. 2011 (video below).
This will be Jolie's third marriage after British actor Johnny Lee Miller and Billy Bob Thornton. For Pitt, it will be his second marriage after leaving Jennifer Aniston in early 2005. The pair met while filming the 2005 film Mrs. & Mrs. Smith.
