On the mid season finale of "Covert Affairs," Auggie will seek help from an unexpected source.

Tonight's mid season finale of the CIA drama will feature Auggie (Christopher Gorham) requesting help from Calder (Hill Harper), a person with whom Auggie doesn't exactly have a warm and fuzzy relationship.

In a sneak preview from tonight's episode, Auggie asks for Calder's assistance to help his ex Annie (Piper Perabo) complete her off-book mission. Auggie asks Calder to give Annie some extra time, but when pressed for more details, Auggie stays tight-lipped.

Auggie's evasiveness causes Calder to retort, "You're asking for trust, but not offering anything in return."

Annie is trying to finish her mission, which may include a manhunt for Henry (Gregory Itzin). Annie's decision to stop Teo (Manolo Cardona) from killing Henry inadvertently left Teo dead, along with six helicopter passengers.

In the most recent episode, "Hang Wire," Henry framed Teo for the helicopter attack, and Arthur (Peter Gallagher) admitted that he was working under Henry at the time of the bombing that killed Teo's mom.

It was revealed that Henry wants to seek revenge on Arthur for Jai's (Sendhil Ramamurthy) death, although it remains unclear as to why he was meeting with ALC terrorists. Henry used Teo's involvement in the terrorist organization to seek vengeance against Arthur.

However, some are speculating that Teo isn't really dead. If Teo is alive, he could assume a new identity. Calder would also be able to question the alleged terrorist if Teo is assumed to be deceased. Or, Henry could capture Teo to inflict even more pain on Arthur.

In the last episode, Calder proved his moral rectitude. It is now also clear that he can corroborate the facts of Annie and Auggie's investigation into Henry and his actions. Calder's support for the mission could protect Joan (Kari Matchett), Annie and Auggie's careers.

Will Calder say yes to Auggie's petitions, thereby helping Annie? Is Teo really dead? Will Annie do everything in her power to take down Henry?

Find out what happens to Annie and her CIA cohorts when "Covert Affairs " airs tonight, Tuesday, on the USA Network at 9 p.m.
