A group of 20 Jacksonville Jaguars fans, frustrated with the team's miserable start, held a rally at EverBank Field Monday demanding team owner Shad Khan sign free agent quarterback Tim Tebow to the team.

"The Jaguars' season is really in the tank," said James Stewart, one of the event's organizers, to ESPN.com. "They don't have a lot of promise. There's not a lot to watch. We're consumers and the Jaguars are a product, and there's a lot of room for improvement. Tebow we think would be value added if he were to be signed and given an opportunity at quarterback."

Jacksonville is 0-2 after losing to the Oakland Raiders 19-9 on Sunday. The Jaguars have failed to light up the scoreboard, scoring a pitiful 11 points two weeks into the NFL season. Starter Blaine Gabbert completed 45.7 percent of his passes for 121 yards during Week 1 and missed the game against the Raiders due to a cut on his throwing hands. Chad Henne got the start on Sunday, completing 25 of 38 passes for 241 yards and a touchdown.

Tebow was cut by the New England Patriots prior to the start of the season, failing to secure a third-string spot with the team. Tebow struggled throughout the preseason completing only 11 of 30 passes for 145 yards with two touchdowns and two interceptions in three games. He also rushed 16 times for 91 yards.

Tebow has not garnered interest from other NFL teams since he was released by the Patriots but has received an offer from the expansion Arena Football League team LA KISS, co-owned by Gene Simmons.

"Similar to how Kurt Warner blossomed in the NFL after becoming one of the greatest quarterbacks in AFL history, we feel our league is the best place for Tim to refine his skills and gain valuable repetitions," said KISS co-owner Brett Bouchy.

Tebow was also made a $1 million offer by Mikhail Zaltsman, owner of the Moscow Black Storm, to play in the semifinals and finals of the American Football Championship of Russia.

"I talked with him personally and he wanted to go," said Zaltsman. "[His agents are] thinking of using him as a motivational speaker. They don't want him to play football."
