The first year of college can be terrifying, even for blood sucking vampires.
The increased workload, the enormous amount of pressure and responsibility, and the boundless possibilities for romance can be too much. The Mystic Falls gang will have to adapt to their new surroundings. They'll have to tap into their resources and be wary of new enemies. They'll have to remain on guard at all times. They're exposed at Whitmore College. They're on their own. It's going to be an exciting semester, and it all begins next month.
For those who can't wait for the back to school vampire special, a new sneak peek offers a look inside the college life. Fans can catch a glimpse of Elena's dorm room, late night bon fires and the poor vampire left back in Mystic Falls, which could be packing more jaw dropping drama than Whitmore.
Although Elena is off to college, leaving Damon behind, Katherine finds her way into his bathtub. Perhaps the long distance will take a toll on the new couple's relationship. But Damon isn't the only one who Katherine has in her sights. The video also shows Silas, pretending to be Stefan, flirting with the recently human Katherine, although his agenda remains unclear. But whatever it is, it can't be good. Take a look for yourself below.
Speaking of Stefan, who's currently locked in a box at the bottom of a river, there's always a silver lining. According to Paul Wesley, his relationship with Elena will never truly die and it could help him escape from such dire circumstances. Regardless of Elena's ties to Damon, Wesley tells fans to be on the look out for an early season clue that solidifies Stefan and Elena's eternal bond.
