A new Japanese advertisement for "Pokémon X and Y" has air, and it featured new information not seen before.
The advertisement for the sixth-generation games launch on Japanese televisions on Sept. 5 detailing the new aspects of "Pokémon X and Y," from the new starters, new Fairy type, and the new Mega Ring that allows certain Pokémon to Mega Evolve.

One important new detail, however, is 18 seconds into the video.
Pokémon fans should already be aware of the new Horde Encounters, which means up to five Wild Pokémon can appear for battle.
The new Japanese advertisement shows the unconfirmed tree-like Pokémon Oorotto, whose English-translated name is yet unknown. Four Oorottos are featured in the Hoard battle scene, but they are seen with second-generation Pokémon Sudowoodo.
It is unknown what relation Sudowoodo has with Oorotto, i.e, if the latter is an evolved form or if it is just a fellow new tree-Pokémon.
It is not rare to see two different types of Pokémon appear in the same Horde Encounters. A confirmed screenshot by The Pokémon Company International has shown a Horde Encounter featuring a group of Tauros and a Miltank in battle against the gamer's Fennekin.

The new advertisement comes as a "Pokémon Direct" presentation announced a cloud service known as "Pokémon Bank," which will allow the player to store up to 3,000 Pokémon via the Internet. Pokémon Bank, however, will have an annual fee and will play a role in transferring Pokémon from the fifth-generation games to "Pokémon X and Y."
In addition, as Latinos Post reported, "Pokémon X and Y" Director Junichi Masuda confirmed the first generation's Bulbasaur, Charmander, and Squirtle can be chosen in the new game. The three Kanto starter Pokémon will be able to Mega Evolve once evolving to their final evolutions of Venusaur, Charizard, and Blastoise, respectively.
"Pokémon X" and "Pokémon Y" will be released in North America, Europe, Japan and Australia on Oct. 12 for the Nintendo 3DS and the recently announced Nintendo 2DS. The games have a suggested retail price of $39.99, each.
