Nigeria and Malawi will battle for first place in Group F in Saturday's CAF World Cup qualifier.

First place is on the line when these two teams meet as none of the other contestants in the group have any chance of grabbing the top spot. Nigeria has nine points and currently holds first place, but Malawi trails the Africa Cup of Nations Champions by two points with seven. The top team earns a berth in the third round of qualifiers where it will take on another first place team in a two-legged playoff.

The task is straight forward for Nigeria: get one point. The team can afford a draw as it would keep Malawi one point behind. A victory would obviously be preferable, but the Super Eagles can afford to play to a standstill.

For Malawi, the task is more daunting: they must defeat a team that has yet to lose in qualifiers. Nigeria has two wins and three draws in five matches. Malawi has yet to lose either, but winning has been rare for them. They have one victory and four draws in their five matches; the lone win came against Namibia.

The last time these two nations met, they battled to a 1-1 draw in Malawi.

Prediction: The Super Eagles are the favorites in this match and will give their fans a lot to cheer about. Expect a 3-0 win for Nigeria.

Start Time: 11 a.m. EST

The match will not be live streamed in the USA.
