England will look to defeat Moldova in Friday's World Cup qualifiers despite sustaining a plethora of injuries.
Among the injured players is star Wayne Rooney. The striker recently unveiled a massive cut on his forehead via Facebook.
"Some people seem to be questioning my commitment to the England squad and the fact I had to pull out of the 2 games," he wrote. "There's nothing I would like more than to be helping the lads in the qualifiers. I'm sure people will see from these images the reason why I won't be able to play."
England will also be without Daniel Sturridge and Steve Caulker. However, Theo Walcott is confident in his team's chances against Moldova.
"There are chances there to be taken. If you're good enough the manager is going to pick you. There's a good balance in the team now and that has started to show at Wembley. It's only going to be positive when you see these youngsters coming through," said Walcott about the young players stepping up against Moldova. "These guys are improving and they are playing really well for their clubs. You want to see the best young talents come through very early and they will only improve."
England currently sits in second place in Group H with 12 points; first place Montenegro has 14 points but has played one more game than England. England has yet to lose a qualifier but has endured three draws in six matches.
England won 5-0 in its first game in Moldova.
Prediction: England is playing at home and should pull off a 5-0 or 6-0 victory despite the injuries.
