The show starts off with WWE COO Triple H hosting a town hall meeting, allowing questions from the wrestlers looking to clear the air about recent actions taken by the company. Damien Sandow applauded Triple H's decision to fire Cody Rhodes, while Heath Slater complained about The Big Show not stepping up. Rob Van Dam complained that was has happened was not cool and Kofi Kingston did not understand how any of this is "good for business." After the meeting, Triple H set the matches for the night - Dolph Ziggler would get a rematch with Ryback, RVD would take on WWE Champion Randy Orton as a "reward" for airing his grievances, Kingston got a non-title match against Intercontinental champion Curtis Axel, and Daniel Bryan could choose any member of The Shield as an opponent.
Alberto Del Rio did commentary as RVD took on "The Viper." Del Rio rammed Ricardo Rodriguez - who was accompanying Van Dam - distracting RVD long enough to give Orton a chance to recover, hit the RKO and get the victory.
Ryback defeated Dolph Ziggler, with an assist from United States Champion and Shield member, Dean Ambrose, who attacked Ziggler just like he did on Monday Night Raw prior to his first match against Ryback.
Kofi Kingston managed to defeat Axel in his scheduled match after nailing the Intercontinental Champion with an S.O.S.
Naomi battled Brie Bella to a no-contest as the divas were attacked during the match by the other divas. Layla came out after the match to introduce WWE Divas Champion AJ Lee.
The Real Americans - Jack Swagger and Antonio Cesaro - defeated The Usos after Swagger pushed one of the Uso brothers off the top rope only to get caught with a Cesaro uppercut that led to the pin-fall victory.
Triple H scheduled 3MB in a handicap match against The Big Show, who choked-slammed Jinder Mahal and Drew McIntyre before nailing Heath Slater with the WMD.
Daniel Bryan decided to let The Shield decide who he would face - saying he knew it would not matter since all three members would attack him anyway. Bryan defeated Seth Rollins, hitting him with a running knee for the pin. Bryan ran up the ramp before "the numbers game" that The Shield plays caught up with him, only to have Orton attack his Night of Champions opponent with the world title, standing over his nemesis as the show ended.
