Luis Suarez remained at Liverpool despite one of the biggest melodramas in the transfer window.
The Uruguayan went from demanding a transfer to calling out his team executives for lying until he was eventually forced to ask for forgiveness for his statements.
"I still have nothing," Suarez said on Monday about whether he would be leaving his current club Liverpool, according to ESPN. "I closed the subject a while ago. I have already taken the decision to stay at Liverpool I have just landed, and I know nothing [about new rumors]."
Suarez has been a controversial figure at Anfield. He was criticized for diving for several seasons and was suspended for biting Chelsea's Branislav Ivanovic late last season. The striker noted that he is likely to continue being a subject of debate regardless of his actions.
"If I play I am the subject of people talking, if do not play it is the same ..." he said. "They have already put me in every team, but I have already finished with this."
"At that moment I said that if something happens then good, but if I was staying at Liverpool I would be delighted," Suarez said. "This is over for a while now."
Suarez is set to stay with Liverpool until rumors likely resurface in January. Teams currently linked to him include Real Madrid and Arsenal. The latter squad made three bids for his services but was rebuffed by Liverpool three times.
Suarez is currently finishing off his suspension for biting Ivanovic. His team has won its first three Premier League games without him.
