Lady Gaga's specialty has always been to reinvent herself. Even when you think that the performer is about to grow stale, she finds a new way to surprise and shock her audience.
Which should make it no surprise that her new album is called ARTPOP. And yes it is in capitals. In fact, when she revealed the title of the album on Twitter, the pop singer made sure to emphasize the capitals. @ladygaga tweeted "make sure when writing about my new album/project ARTPOP that you CAPITALIZE the title, *its all in the details* good morning twitter!"
The title "ARTPOP" stands for "Artistic Revolution Through The Potential of Pop" according to Gaga's twitter page. Additionally, Gaga posted a picture of a new wrist tattoo of the album title and a caption that said "new ink new album."
When she released her 2011 album "Born This Way" the controversial singer also got a new tattoo.
Among the things that Gaga did not publish was when the album would be released or what songs would be included. However, some new songs that Gaga has shown off on her latest tour such "Princess Die" are expected to be on the album.
Gaga is halfway through her 110-date "Born This Way Ball" worldwide concert tour, embarking on the Europe leg this month.
Grammy-winning Gaga was launched to fame with her debut album "The Fame" in 2008 and went on to sell 1.1 million copies of her sophomore album "Born This Way" in the first week of its release in May 2011.
