Watch as these players daringly play football while riding a unicycle!
Meet the Unicycle Football League - a group of daredevil football players based in San Marcos Texas. These players believe that "pedestrian football is outdated" and thus, spend their time playing football while riding unicycles instead.
There are currently nine unicycle football league teams according to their website. The teams are Gnarwhals, Harvey Street Herons, Hell on Wheel, Hot Dogs, Ill Eagles, Los Bierdos, Rolling Blackouts, Unibrawdz and Unicychos. Each of these teams play by the rules set by the organization which includes having to wear bike helmets and of course, having the ability to ride a unicycle!
According to the organization, unicycle football is actually "flackle" football. It works much like the "tackle" move in football which aims at dispossessing an opponent of the ball. Only this time around, the person with the ball may be tackled by removing their flags during the play.
