Rachel Hurd-Wood and Alex Pettyfer are the latest stars to be rumored for the upcoming "Star Wars Episode VII."

According to a report from Latino Review, Hurd-Wood auditioned for the role of Princess Leia and Han Solo's daughter: "I know who went in for an audition to play the daughter of Princess Leia (and presumably Han Solo) ... And got it confirmed via representation and other solid sources," wrote Latino Review.

One of Latino Review's sources reportedly said that Hurd-Wood was the only actress to have read for the role at the moment. "Our sources told us that she went in for a read and, so far, was the only one that went in for the part. However, there will be other girls going for a read, meaning SHE DOESN'T HAVE THE ROLE YET!! We want to be very clear on that before it gets blown out of context," reported Latino Review.

Sources also told the Latino Review that Pettyfer was up for a potential role. However, it was not revealed what part he had auditioned for.

Auditions for the film have been ongoing for the past month, but no casting has been announced yet. For months it has been rumored that Carrie Fisher, Harrison Ford and Mark Hamill will return to the franchise. Ian McDiarmid and Anthony Daniels are the latest stars who are rumored to return. With production beginning in January, Lucasfilms is bound to announce casting in the coming months.

"Star Wars: Episode VII" is currently in pre-production with J.J Abrams set to direct, while Kathleen Kennedy will produce. Michael Arndt wrote the script and John Williams will compose the music for the movie. Disney is rumored to release the movie on Dec. 15, 2015, with production moving to the United Kingdom.
