Finally, they’re back. All summer long the lack of superheroes has jeopardized our safety. Movies like “Man of Steel” and “The Wolverine” certainly helped pick up the slack, but it was nowhere near to what we’ve grown accustomed to. We’ve been spoiled in the past, and now without the devoted and powerful crime fighters at our backs, humanity is at a loss.
But there’s no need to worry. Come October, one of our favorite band of heroes is returning in full force. Not only will there be sufficient superheroes to inspire hope in our hearts, but their ranks will be comprised of cunning and skillful warriors with souls of gold.
Season 2 of the hit series “Arrow” will bring along an impressive batch of DC heroes who are willing and able to do whatever it takes to preserve their city. In anticipation of its approaching premiere, The CW has revealed the first Season 2 poster for “Arrow.” Stephen Amell’s Oliver dominated Season 1, but he may be taking more of a backseat this time around. He’ll still be the star of the show, but he could lose a chunk of the limelight to new series regulars Emily Bett Rickards and David Ramsey, who will play Oliver’s loyal comrades, Felicity and Diggle.
In addition to those previously mentioned, the poster features Manu Bennett as Slade Wilson, Katie Cassidy as Laurel, Willa Holland as Thea, and Colton Haynes as Roy. By the looks of them, we’ll have nothing to worry about come October. The streets will be kept safe, allowing fans to cuddle up under mounds of puffy blankets, turn on their televisions, and watch their favorite superheroes kick some ass. Check it out below.
