William Levy revealed that his character in "La Tempestad" will have a child.

The actor told the press that he was happy with the baby story line developing on the soap opera. He stated, "It's a very beautiful part of the character. After his father died when he was young and then his mother dies, it is really special that a child comes to Capitan Fabre's life, even if he is not sure the child is his."

"The child is important to the character because Capitan Fabre even takes the risk of looking for the child when he is kidnapped," he added.

The actor also said that during the filming of those scenes he used his experiences as a father. "Being a father has helped me on set. I know how to act around a child and also give a child the love it needs. I have also had the opportunity to know how to carry a baby and live around them. I know the audience will get to see this in the telenovela. It's such a beautiful part of the series," said Levy.

"La Tempestad" premiered in July to mixed reviews. The series is said to be the most expensive production ever produced by Televisa. Christina Aguilera and Alejandro Fernandez sang the theme song, "Hoy Tengo Ganas de Ti," and premiered their music video on YouTube. The series also stars Ximena Navarrette, Ivan Sanchez, Laura Carmine, Jessica Coch, Arturo Peniche, Marianna Seoane, Robert Blandon, Diana Bracho, Cesar Evora, Alfonso Herrera, Latin Lover and Luis Manuel Avila. "La Tempestad" is based on the Colombian telenovela "La Tormenta." The series airs at 9 p.m. on Univision.
