It’s time we all seek forgiveness. The end is drawing near. In less than seven weeks, human civilization will find itself lost amidst a zombie apocalypse. We will adapt. Leaders will arise, some brave and driven, some malicious, but the death toll will be high. Surviving the initial catastrophe is just the first step. From there you have to rebuild civilization while fighting for your own survival against zombies and post-apocalypse tribes. October will be a treacherous month. Prepare yourselves.
The fourth season of “The Walking Dead” is now just weeks away. All summer, fans have been craving their brain feeding zombie fix, and as anticipation builds, they continue to look for more details on their favorite characters and where they’ll be come the season premiere. Luckily for Michonne fans, than can catch an early glimpse of the young warrior riding her new horse, Flame, and fending off several growling, bloodied walkers. The young Carl then springs into action, grabbing a rifle and running to Michonne’s aid, but of course, the clip ends there. Drama. Just what “Walking Dead” fans have been waiting for. Check out the special sneak peek for yourself below.
Michonne looks high mighty atop her new ride, which executive producer Gale Anne Hurd hints will be a recurring image throughout the season. "One of the most compelling images is Michonne finding a new and possibly a lot more reliable type of transportation," Hurd said during an interview with Entertainment Weekly. "With a horse, you can go through the woods. You can get around obstacles. You can't do that in a vehicle. If a tree falls and blocks the road, you can't go through the forest. You're not going to make it through. It's actually much more of a useful choice. Not only that, but Michonne looks so badass on it."
“The Walking Dead” returns to AMC on Sunday, October 13.
