The star has just released the official artwork for her upcoming album, BANGERZ, as well as a brand new single. The track, titled “Wrecking Ball,” is a welcomed breath of fresh air. Cyrus finally steps back from her overcharged overpartying alter ego to sing about love and heartbreak.
“I came in like a wrecking ball/I never hit so hard in love/All I wanted was to break your wall/All you ever did was break me/Yeah you wreck me,” she sings in the modern pop ballad. The tune showcases her raw talent. Despite her increasingly worrisome antics, she reminds fans of how she go to where she is. She’s a real singer. She’s not just a face. She’s got pipes.
