Summer wrapping up is brazen bustle. August has nearly come and gone. Soon enough, the sun will begin to set earlier, the days will become brisk, kids will pack their bags and climb the bus, and the masses will prepare for the onslaught of winter. And then, before you know it, it's back. The summer sun peaks its rays over the horizon once again. The snow melts, the flowers bloom and the bees fervently buzz.

But August sun and impending heat won't be the only thing making warming our bodies and souls. With summer 2014 comes the arrival of the film adaptation of "50 Shades of Grey." Fans eagerly wait its debut, which will be here much sooner than it seems. It's right around the corner. A year is nothing. It's a blink of the eye. Now that it's approaching, one would think author E. L. James and director Sam Taylor-Johnson would take haste with their casting deliberations. There are handfuls of qualified candidates to play Christian Grey and Anastasia Steele, but still, the top dogs have yet to make up their minds, leaving hands high, dry and frustrated. Luckily, the "50 Shades" casting mayhem may finally, finally be coming to an end. Finally.

According to The Wrap, casting is expected to wrap up by the end of September, as filming will begin this fall. This is the best news "50 Shades" fans have heard since the movie James and Universal announced that the novel would make its way to the big screen this past winter. So who's going to snag the coveted roles of Anastasia and Christian? Well one rumored actor has just dropped out of the race, putting a hush to recent rampant speculations.

"Sons of Anarchy" star Charlie Hunnam, who has continued to snag Mr. Grey headlines in recent weeks, has not been confirmed to join the "50 Shades" cast, reports Variety. Insiders have stated that while Hunnam is still on the list of potential candidates to play Christian, "no casting decisions have been made." So while the final announcement approaches, James and fellow Hollywood bigs are still as anxious as loyal "50 Shades" fans.

But the end is drawing near. It's time to get on with it. Finally.
