With Ryan Lochte making headlines around the world, so is he catching the attention of many women out there.
"Is he single?" or "is he dating?" are questions many people want answered and while one might guess that Google Instant would pull up information regarding his medals or his Olympic performance, when one starts typing his name it actually prompts the search for "ryan lochte girlfriend".
So rumor has it that Ryan Lochte is currently single but according to some sources, he is on the search for a special friend.
For one thing, it seems that Lochte has been spotted 'flirting' with an Australian swimmer, Blair Evans, during not only training sessions at the Aquatic Center in London but indiscreetly accompanying her to the Olympic village as well.
For another, many blogs and internet sites rumor that Lochte may have something going on with K. Michelle.
However those rumors were somewhat challenged after Locthe's mother, Ike Lochte, spilled the beans regarding the swimmer's love life.
"He goes out on one-night stands. He's not able to give fully to a relationship because he's always on the go," Ike told TODAY.com in an interview.
Ryan later clarified what his mom meant by "one-night stands".
"She meant I go on a lot of dates. She didn't mean anything negative. She's new to the whole media thing," he told E! in an interview.
The fact, however, is that Ryan has showed interest in starting a family.
Ryan told Access Hollywood about his marriage plans recently with a comment.
"Now that the games are all said and done, I definitely want to get married and have kids and start a family of my own," Locthe said although later mentioned that the plans were not for the moment.
This means once the swimmer gets the Olympics out of his way and returns home, he'll definitely have time to relax and look more into his love plans.
