If you think the most expensive coffee in the world is sold at Starbucks, think again! These coffee beans will surely keep your eyes open with their hefty tag prices! Here is a modified list of IB Times' Most Expensive Coffees in the World. By the way, there's a reason why that little critter behind bars is part of the list.

#7 Rwanda Blue Bourbon Coffee at $24 per pound. This coffee was selected by Starbucks for their limited edition coffee says IB Times. Interestingly, Rwandan coffee farmers were producing mostly low quality beans at that time. Hmm.

#6 Kona Coffee at $34 per pound. Though originally from Brazil, these coffee beans are grown in Hawaii.

#5 Jamaica Blue Mountain Coffee at $49 per pound. Probably the most counterfeited coffee on the list, it has made its way into Japan shores.

#4 El Injerto Coffee at $50 per pound. El Injerto Coffee hails from Guatemala and according to IB Times, was initially cultivated for the Cup of Excellence auction.

#3 St. Helena Coffee at $79 per pound. This historic coffee is grown at St. Helena where Napoleon Bonaparte was exiled. Bonaparte was reportedly a fan of the coffee. The French leader has exquisite taste, I must say.

#2 Hacienda La Esmeralda at $104 per pound. Hacienda La Esmeralda is highly known for its flavor and aroma.

#1 Kopi Luwak at $160 per pound. This coffee comes straight out of common palm civets in Indonesia. The little critters eat the coffee cherries and well, dispose them - making the world's most expensive cup of coffee. Yum!
