Brazilians have been on the move throughout summer transfer window with such names as Neymar and Paulinho finding new teams and lots of money in 2013-14.
However, Brazilian coach Luis Felipe Scolari cares more about his players receiving quality playing time ahead of the World Cup next summer.
"A player who wants to play for Brazil has to think about the national team and not just think about the monetary side," Scolari said, according to ESPN. "The spirit we showed at the Confederations Cup was absolutely spectacular...But now it's over and we're on a new path. The athletes have to remember that a lot can happen - players not getting regular games, transfers, players, dropping out of favor at their clubs."
He added, "The players know that nobody has made sure of their place. We played well [at the Confederations Cup], but they have to play at their clubs so they can be picked. Some players have credit in the bank, but credit can dry up and that is how it has to be."
One of the players he expressed concern for was goalie Julio Cesar who currently plays for second division Queens Park Rangers and was unable to make a move to Fiorentina.
"I'm worried and he knows that," he said. "If possible, he needs to try and play, it doesn't matter if it's in the second division, third division or tenth division. I want to be able to see how they are playing and if they are in the right state."
Another player whose World Cup hopes could be in danger is Kaka. The former FIFA World Player of the year was not selected for the Confederations Cup and faces an uphill climb in winning a starting spot with Real Madrid this upcoming season.
