Iraq and Chile square off in a friendly match on Wednesday.

The Asian side, currently ranked 104 in the world according to FIFA, has already been eliminated from World Cup contention. Meanwhile, Chile is currently fighting to save its hopes of competing in Brazil next season.

Chile's Last Five Games

Four of the last five games for the South American side were World Cup qualifiers. Back in March, the team suffered a 1-0 loss to Peru in Lima before taking down Uruguay 2-0 at home. In April, the team traveled to take on Brazil in Belo Horizonte and drew 2-2. Afterward, the team managed two pivotal wins over Paraguay and Bolivia in its ensuing games to earn the fourth spot on the CONMEBOL table with 21 points; the team has a five point advantage over fifth place Uruguay.

Iraq's Last Five Games

The Iraqis have also endured many World Cup qualifiers in the last few months. Back in March, the side defeated Syria in a friendly before losing to Liberia in a May friendly. In June the club endured three straight 1-0 losses in World Cup qualifiers against Oman, Australia, and Japan and was officially eliminated from next year's tournament. Iraq has only won twice in its last seven games
