Following on the heels of his girlfriend Katy Perry's new single "Roar," crooner John Mayer released his new love anthem "Who You Love" featuring none other than Perry herself. The song, which comes out on Mayer's upcoming album Paradise Valley, is the singer's public declaration of love to the pop songstress.

“My girl, she ain’t the one that I saw coming/Sometimes I don’t know which way to go/And I tried to run before but I’m not running anymore/Cuz I fought against it hard enough to know/That you love who you love who you love/You can’t make yourself stop dreaming of who you’re dreaming of/If it’s who you love, then it’s who you love...” the 35-year-old Mayer sings.

Perry also declares her love for the former playboy. “My boy, he ain’t the one that I saw coming/And some have said his heart’s too hard to hold...And he takes a little time but you should see him when his shines/Cuz you never want to let the feeling go.”

Towards the end of the track, Perry sings “You’re the one I love,” before bursting into a fit of giggles. In an interview with The Morning Mash Up live on SiriusXM Hits 1, Perry described the giggles as a “love giggle.” She added, “it’s very humanizing, it’s like the real moment, you’re catching the real moment there.”

Mayer’s new album, which is due later this month, is now available to stream in full on iTunes, Columbia Records announced on Monday. According to the record company, Mayer will preview songs from the album during an appearance on “Live from Letterman” on August 19.

The singer set off on his first tour after a three-year hiatus earlier this summer. The tour, which features supporting act Phillip Phillips, will run through early October.

John Mayer’s Paradise Valley comes out on August 20.
