Borussia Dortmund will look to win its first match of the season when it takes on FC Augsburg.
Borussia finished second in the league championship last season and must win to keep pace with defending champions Bayern Munich, which opened the season with a 3-1 victory on Friday.
"It's going to be difficult. Our opponents are well-prepared and well-organized. We have to be alert. We have plenty of options and can rotate if necessary," said Borussia coach Jurgen Klopp.
Aside from its opponent, Dortmund will need to keep attention away from the ongoing drama with Robert Lewandowski. The striker has repeatedly announced his discontent with being denied a transfer to Munich this summer.
"I was disappointed because people within the club said one thing to my face and then later it was different to what was agreed," the Poland international told publication Rzeczpospolita. "When I myself promise something then I keep my word. I was always fair towards the club, I always give 100 percent."
However, Klopp is confident that the team can get past the problems.
"For me what he does is a thousand times more important than what he says because what he does needs no interpretation," Klopp told reporters last week.
"Whatever is left to be discussed will be discussed internally," he added. "The idea is to close this subject. Everything is in order. Nothing has changed since yesterday or the day before yesterday...I am convinced we will clear up everything in the coming days."
