There's a magic to television and the Primetime Emmy's are the perfect opportunity to celebrate it. So as we gear up for yet another annual ceremony, here are the nominations for Outstanding Comedy Series along with our predictions.

"Girls": 27-year-old Lena Dunham has catapulted into the film and television industry. She first made her mark with the impression freshman film, "Tiny Furniture." She hit the ground running and didn't stop. Her major success on the HBO series "Girls" proves that she will long have a dominating Hollywood presence.
"Louie": Louie C.K.'s originally comedy as captivated fans with its offbeat but relatable comedy. The low budget, real life story that portrays the life of a struggling comedian and frustrated father has redefined the comedy show format and will continue to flourish in future seasons.
"Modern Family": The dynamic relationships established in "Modern Family" make it stand out from any other contender. It's diverse characters and complicated but always loving relationships make it unforgettable.
"Big Bang Theory": This is one of the few shows on television that gets better with age. Now approaching its seventh season, it continues to gain more and more traction, gaining viewers with every episode. At this pace, it will clearly be present in many Emmy Award Ceremonies to come.
"Veep": "Veep" is a relatively new series on HBO, debuting in 2012, starring Julia Louis-Dreyfus, set in the office of Selina Meyer, a fictional Vice President of the United States. Its immediate success proves that it will long be a contender for future awards.

"Louie" has by far the most original, fresh content. It never falls flat. It never gets stale. It's a new take on comedy that emulates real world struggles with a touch of irony and poise. Far more than any other comedy series, it continues to break into new territory and produce fresh content.
