In March, Colombian actress Sofía Vergara shared a photo on Twitter to let her 4.8 million followers know she had lightened her brunette locks and was now a blonde bombshell. Last week she was photographed in Brentwood, California, with her fabulous new look.
The popular Colombian actress, who recently celebrated her 41th birthday, likes to share her life moments with fans through her social media platforms, and the photos of her time shooting "Chef" in Los Angeles were no exception.
Vergara posted on Twitter several pictures where she is spotted with co-stars John Leguizamo and Jon Fraveu on the set of the movie.
The actress changed her hair color for her latest role in movie "Chef", directed by Favreau, a comedy that tells the story of a chef who loses his job and decides to open a food truck.
The cast also includes Dustin Hoffman, Scarlett Johansson, Robert Downey Jr., Amy Sedaris and Fraveau himself, who plays the chef. The script is based on an original screenplay by Favreau.
According to Deadline, the CEO of Open Road Films, the company that will distribute the film, said "Led by the wildly talented Jon Favreau, this is a very exciting project with a fantastic script and a truly incredible group of actors. We are thrilled to be in business again with Aldamisa and to add this project to our 2014 slate."
This new production is not to be mistaken with another film with the same name starring Bradley Cooper - a story about a chef that loses his Michelin status and who is determined to regain it, the Huffington Post reported.
The film is the story of Carl Casper -the main character-, who opens a food truck business to reestablish his artistic promise after losing his chef job. While facing the struggles of following his dreams, he also tries to reconnect with his estranged family, including his ex-wife, played by Vergara.
Fans can expect to see the Colombian sensation wearing casual clothes, in opposition of the high couture dresses she wears on the Red Carpet. In the movie, Vergara is dressed with jeans, a dark green shirt and a black server's apron, ready to take the client's orders through the truck's window, the Huffington Post published.
"Chef" will be released by Open Road Films nationwide on Mother's Day Weekend, May 9, 2014.
