Google's mobile operating system continued to increase its market share figures in China as Apple and Microsoft lose ground.
Looking at the three months ending in June 2013, provided by Kantar Worldpanel, Google Android finished on top with 67.8 percent of the smartphone market share.

Android maintained its first place position in comparison to the same period last year. For the three months ending in June 2012, Android received 60.7 percent of the market share, but has since grown by 7.1 percent.
Apple's iOS was in second place for the second consecutive year. iOS amassed 24.7 percent for the three months ending in June 2013. iOS' figures are down, however, by 2 percent. Apple's mobile platform received 26.7 percent during the same period in 2012.
Microsoft's Windows Phone finished third. Windows Phone also saw a drop in its numbers by 1.3 percent. For the three months ending in June 2012, Windows Phone also placed third with 6.2 percent, but for 2013, it accounted for 4.9 percent of the smartphone market share.
Symbian saw the largest market share percentage drop for the three months ending in June 2013. The mobile operating system maintained its fourth place position ahead of BlackBerry, but fell by 2.7 percent, resulting in a 1.7 percent finish.
BlackBerry, in the same period last year, was at 0.0 percent, but increased its share by 0.1 percent.
