Radamel Falcao and Monaco will get a chance to test their abilities when they take on Tottenham Hotspur on Saturday afternoon.
The French Club is returning to the Ligue 1 this season and is loaded with a bunch of new superstars including Colombian duo Falcao and James Rodriguez. The team is coming off a 3-0 win against Leicester City that featured a Falcao goal.
The club is making a bid to return to being an elite club. Rodriguez feels that the pieces are in place to make a run this season at returning to the Champions League.
"I know Monaco, with the players we've got, will be victorious and play in the Champions League next year," he said according to Goal.com. "Signing Falcao and Moutinho will help a lot. I've been playing with great players who have been top figures, and who are now here. I think that's important. With good players it's easy to play and adapt."
Tottenham's Champions League hopes could be dashed in coming days if Gareth Bale leaves for Real Madrid in coming days. The Spanish giants are rumored to have bid 100 million euros for the Welshman.
The English side has not confirmed the move but has recently acquired Spanish forward Roberto Soldado. The striker has urged Bale to stay.
"Of course I want him to stay," said Soldado according to ESPN. "Bale is a great footballer and you can see the effort Tottenham are making to prevent him from leaving."
Prediction: Falcao and coming pull off a 2-0 win.
