Shakira was seen enjoying some deserved holidays with her family in paradisiacal Hawaii. She was spotted wearing two different bikinis that showed off her flat stomach and stunning figure, while spending some quality time alone with Gerard Piqué, father of their 6-month-old baby Milan.
According to Daily Mail, the star wore a frilly black string two-piece teamed with a matching sheer sarong as she played around in the ocean with her beloved, and later changed into a neon pink strapless tube top and bottoms.
The couple seemed more in love than ever, kissing, holding hands and smiling. At one point, Piqué wrapped a pink towel around his girlfriend. And while they were in the ocean, he helped her straighten her strapless top after it came slightly loose in the water. Allegedly, the couple went on a canoeing trip later and were also seen carrying baby Milan out of a restaurant on another occasion. On his Twitter account, Piqué posted a picture of the couple on a helicopter. "Ready to fly over the volcano," he wrote.
On July 13, he also shared a picture of baby Milan on a plane's seat, probably on their way to the Islands. "Ready to flight!" it said. Shakira also posted a photo of Gerard with baby Milan on her Twitter account, captioned, "¡Vacaciones con papi!" (On holidays with daddy).
Earlier this year, Shakira appeared on Ellen DeGeneres' talk show and confessed how hard it was to see her body so changed after giving birth. "At first it's hard to deal with your image in the mirror. I looked like a Shar Pei when I first delivered. I was like 'Oh My God, am I ever going to be sexy again? Is my man ever going to be attracted to me again the way he used to be?' All these feelings that you deal with, all these fears that come to you," she said.
Fast forward six months later and the star has surprised the world by showing off her toned body. On the matter, Shakira has said Zumba has been very helpful. "I do Zumba. Zumba has been actually really great for me. Even during pregnancy, I kept doing it until almost the end," she told Us Weekly in April.
Gerard Piqué has praised Shakira's qualities as a mother in the Huffington Post. "She is the best mom in the world, next to mine. Milan couldn't have had a better mother. She is very devoted to him, the love and connection between them is amazing." The Colombian singer has also commented on her realtionship with the Barcelona footballer, saying Pique's arrival to her life and the love they share has changed her perspective on God.
"I think, if you can prove the existence of God, it can only be proven through love. I even had lost my faith for a while. I was becoming as agnostic. And it was really hard, because I was always very religious, and for a few years, maybe because-it sounds so corny-I was not feeling the love like it was supposed to be, I started to think that there was no God. And suddenly I meet Gerard and the sun comes out," she told Elle on June.
