It's cold and dark in the trenches. Supplies are running low, fevers are running high, and morale has dipped to a sullen low. Dirt collects under fingernails as soldiers dig deep into the mud in search of fleeting salvation. Summer is ending. Time is running out. It's unclear how much longer the army's fabric will hold. With every passing second it dwindles down to a thread, longingly awaiting the moment when the fragile string snaps. Whether we win the war or not, an escape from the tormenting pain will be a victory in itself. Yet still we sit, bundled together as one, fixated on the dimming light at the end of the tunnel. But we will endure. We will remain diligent. We will sit patiently, tortured and alone, awaiting the precious words to pass E. L. James lips. "And the '50 Shades of Grey' cast will be as follows..."
Unfortunately that day is but a distant thought. After months of prolonged deliberation, James and Universal Studios have yet to announce who are to play Anastasia Steele and Christian Grey in the upcoming film adaptation of "50 Shades of Grey." No matter how loud fans cry, their pleas go unanswered. There's no telling who will grace the big screen as the seductive duo. Fans rely on polls and mock trailers to ail their woes, but they can only take so much. An answer must be in our near future, right?
Probably not, but at least an unofficial trailer by Sunshinedoll27 will keep fans clinging on to what life they have left. It doesn't focus on any actor or actress in particular, but it fuels our imagination. The movie made its way to YouTube last November, but just now is getting the "50 Shades" attention that it deserves.
"I wanted this video to focus only on the Sex and the Red Room Of Pain," she writes. "There are so many people who have such strong opinions of who should play who so I wanted everyone to be able to enjoy the video without being disappointed that there Fav Actor wasn't used." Check out the Red Room of Pain video below.
Other fan made trailers continue to reiterate who the most desired contenders are, and that's Matt Bomer and Alexis Bledel. One trailer in particular, featuring Bomer alongside a mystery Ana, now has nearly 6.8 million views and counting. Another, which features both Bomer and Bledel, has earned more than 5.6 million. All other fan made trailers hail in comparison, proving that Bomer and Bledel could potentially be Hollywood's hottest pair come August 2014 when the movie is set to hit theaters. Check both out below.
