Winter is a time for television. Not all is lost. As autumn approaches, television's best prepare for their season premieres. And what better way to fuel the excitement than to share details with the fans?
ABC's "Castle" will return for its sixth season come September. As it gears up for its return, more and more cast members join the team, beefing up the already impressive cast. The most recent addition is Warren Christie, known for his role as the hyperkinetic Cameron Hicks on "Alphas." Christie will guest star on the second episode as Brad Parker, a reporter with a penchant for uncovering stories that are adverse to national security, according to Entertainment Weekly. Could this hint at a new major threat in season 6?
His appearance will come in the wake of the premiere, which will provide a solution to Beckett's marriage proposal dilemma that could put her professional future in jeopardy.
"Regardless of her answer, it is going to significantly change their relationship," said executive producer Andrew Marlowe about Beckett and Richard Castle's tabled marriage proposal. No matter what she decides, fans should prepare for a romantic season that will include a birth, a new love interest for at least one character and a possible wedding.
"Castle" will return to ABC September 23.
