Eminem New Album 2013 News: Kanye West Rants About Admiration For Slim Shady In Secret Audio Recording

There's no question that fans around the world are anxiously awaiting the release of Eminem's new album, scheduled to drop sometime this year. However, even high-profile rappers like Kanye West may be eager to hear Em's new tunes.

Gawker has allegedly found exclusive audio of Kanye expressing his admiration for the Detroit rap star that was secretly recorded on the night of the 2009 MTV Video Music Awards.  In the audio, which was supposedly recorded after West left Radio City Music Hall in New York City, the GOOD Music label owner can also be heard ranting about Taylor Swift, Pink and Drake.

Although it has not been confirmed that the voice in the leaked recording is indeed the "I Am A God" singer, Gawker points out that "it sure as hell sounds like him," adding that "It's not just the tone and timbre of his voice that's convincing, but the content of his rant, the loose connections he draws as if they are utterly obvious."

In the audio, Yeezy gives an erratic justification for why he infamously interrupted Taylor Swift during her acceptance speech at the 2009 VMA's earlier that night. He starts off stating that Eminem's verse on one of Drake's songs (probably "Forever") inspired him to rewrite his lyrics, which were also featured on the song. He then explains that because he puts so much effort in his craft, Swift "cannot beat Beyonce."

"When I heard Eminem's verse on the Drake s--t, I went back and rewrote my shit for two days. I canceled appointments to rewrite! I f-----g care! You know what I'm saying? And that's what I'm saying. Because I did that, Taylor Swift cannot win over Beyoncé!"

He goes on to bash Pink, noting that MTV asked her to perform two songs at the award show, instead of asking him to perform "Heartless," which he describes as "the biggest song of the year."

Later on, the music producer goes on to describe how excited and happy he was when he learned that Eminem won a VMA which was for Best Hip-Hop Video.

We wonder how exited Ye will be to hear Slim Shady's new LP once it drops later this year. But, the bigger question is, will Shady's 2013 outsell West's "Yeezus" album?

It ain't no love. What the fuck was Pink performing? Don't nobody know that song. Pink performed twice! Two songs? How the f--k Pink perform two songs and I didn't even get asked to perform "Heartless." "Heartless" is the biggest song of the year! It had the most spins of the first quarter!
