Justin Timberlake could easily be compared to R&B artist Robin Thicke.
According to SheKnows.com, "Years ago, no one could have predicted that Justin Timberlake would have us in Watch the Throne mode, witnessing him work (and seemingly become BFFs) with the likes of megastar mogul Jay Z (though their partnership is surprising, it's not Miley Cyrus-Snoop Lion shocking)."
SheKnows immediately made the comparison between Timberlake and Thicke.
Justin Timberlake's new album titled 20/20 Experience made its release in March 2013.
Speaking of his new single off of the album, it has drawn a lot of comparisons with another single with another hot male music artist today - Robin Thicke. The single in question is called "Blurred Lines", which is a hit song from Thicke that is taken off from the album of the same name. The single recently tied the record for the longest period a single has been on the No.1 spot in the Billboard Hot 100 Music Charts, which is six consecutive weeks.
The song features T.I. and Pharell Williams, both of which Justin Timberlake had worked with in the past. Hence, it is no surprise that these two songs had drawn a lot of comparisons, with several music critics even going as far as comparing the two singers.
Aside from the song, though, the biggest source of controversy and comparisons between these two involve the concept of their respective music videos. Both singers' videos featured naked, topless female models in saucy clips.
After almost a seven-year hiatus, Justin Timberlake, the former N-Sync frontman is now busy with other projects such as films, and of course marriage to Jessica Biel. But for someone who was part of the music industry since his early teens, Justin Timberlake is making a huge return this year to the delight of his loyal fans.
It seems as though the comparisons will be settled in the upcoming MTV Video Music Awards as both artists earned their respective nominations, with Justin Timberlake among the frontrunners with six nominations.
