As everyone tries to escape from the police, El Chili and some of his men get stranded in a house hiding from the police.
In the meantime Byron, Lara's assassin, is questioned by the police. Byron however remains silent and scared as he is questioned.
Escobar continues trying to escape but is unable to leave Colombia.
Meanwhile Nancy, Lara's wife grieves the death of her husband as they bury him. Politicians all gather around to say goodbye and bury the minister.
In the meantime the police use reverse psychology to tell Byron that his partner is already free. The policeman then tells Byron that he will protect his family if he says something. However Byron does not know who contracted him for the job.
Patty and Pablo's family leave to Ecuador but Pablo continues in Colombia.
The policeman finds out where Byron and his friend were staying but are unsuccessful in finding out who contracted him.Byron is pressured by Nikki of El Espectador but is also unsuccessful. However she tells the police that they need to be more patient as he is only a young man who does not know the importance of the crime they committed.
The police investigate and discover that the calls that were made from the hotel room were all to the same place in Meddellin. The police arrive at the hiding house where El Chili is staying.
However his sister covers him.The police continue their search without success.
