Despite the speculation that Kristen Stewart is dating Boardwalk Empire actor Michael Pitt, Stewart's rep has confirmed that the rumors are not true.
The "Twilight Saga" star recently split from longtime boyfriend Robert Pattison in May. The couple dated on and off for four years in addition to sharing an on screen romance in the "Twilight" movies.
However, after Stewart was spotted with Pitt during Paris Fashion Week, rumors emerged that the 23-year-old actress was on the rebound with the 31-year-old actor. Reports claimed Pitt was helping Steward cope with her breakup, but according to Perez Hilton, Pitt is actually engaged to model Jame Bouchert, who was seen walking in the fashion show Kristen attended.
In addition, KStew's rep debunked the dating rumors in a statement sent to E!
"While we do not comment on our clients' personal lives, please know that there is absolutely no truth whatsoever to this rumor that Michael Pitt and Kirsten Stewart are dating," said Stewart's rep in the statement.
Sources say that the split has left Stewart "heartbroken," but she has been focusing on work and was recently spotted heading to a meeting in Los Angeles for her upcoming Guantanamo Bay-set political drama "Camp X-Ray." She's also set to star in the Olivier Assayas-directed drama "Sils Maria," alongside Julianne Moore and Chloe Moretz.
Meanwhile, an insider told E! News that Pattinson is "in good spirits" following the breakup, adding that he's been "enjoying hanging and chilling with friends at this point in his life." While he's not dating at the moment, the source also insisted the 27-year-old hunk is "very open to" the idea.
