France and Uruguay will contest the final of the U-20 World Cup 2013 on Saturday afternoon.

The French struggled in the group stage after winning their opener against Ghana. In the second match, the team blew a 1-0 late in the waning moments against the United States and had to settle for a draw. In the final group match, the French were destroyed 2-1 by Spain. Since then the team has responded with victories over Turkey, Uzbekistan, and Ghana in order to make the final.

"We weren't ourselves in the first round," said Kurt Zouma in an interview withFIFA.com. "We had mixed feelings about it all because the atmosphere was really good and yet we weren't playing well. We couldn't get going, but our coach told us that's often the way in a World Cup, with teams who start slowly often getting stronger."

Meanwhile, the Uruguayans finished second in their group before taking down Nigeria, Spain, and Iraq in the knockout stages.

"It's the World Cup final so it's going to be very tough," Uruguay's David Guetta toldFIFA.com. "I don't see France as the favorites. There's no such thing as favorites in football, as I think we proved against Spain. They were supposed to be odds-on to beat us but we beat them."

Prediction: Both sides will attack in the opening moments but will slowly revert to a conservative style. Look for France to win 1-0.

Start Time: Kickoff starts at 2 PM EST.
