The rumor mill is in overdrive, but People Magazine has officially confirmed that Halle Berry will wed fiancee Olivier Martinez in a small ceremony in Europe this weekend.
People reports that the couple boarded a flight to Paris on Tuesday with Berry's 5-year-old daughter Nahla in tow. The magazine has not confirmed whether the wedding will take place in France or if they'll travel elsewhere in Europe to tie the knot. However, Berry and Martinez have reportedly been looking forward to a summer marriage for some time.
Berry, 46, Martinez, 47 and Nahla, 5 are also readying themselves to add a fourth member to their little family unit. Berry is expecting to give birth to the couple's first child together in the early fall.
Martinez told People in June, "My son will be an American, but I remain French."
Berry and Martinez have been together since 2010. While this will be his first foray down the aisle, it will be Berry's third marriage. According to Us Magazine, she was previously wed to baseball player David Justice from 1993 to 1997 and to R&B singer Eric Benet from 2001 to 2005.
After her divorce from Benet, Berry swore she'd never marry again, but apparently plans changed when she fell in love with Martinez on the set of the film "Dark Tide."
Us Weekly takes credit for being the first to spill the beans on the couple's engagement in January 2012, but no one confirmed it until Martinez reportedly told Miami.com in March of that year, "Yes, of course we're engaged!"
Just a few months later, Berry also confirmed, saying "Who knew? I swore off marriage, right? Never say never, people!"
