Honduras will look to win its first match of the CONCACAF Gold Cup 2013 when it faces off against Haiti on Tuesday.

The Central Americans enter the match as the undisputed favorites to win Group B, but must first win their match against a solid Haitian team that has competed in the tournament 11 times in its history. Moreover, Haiti won the championship in 1973. Honduras has qualified for the CONCACAF competition 15 times and won it in 1981. Additionally, the Catrachos have qualified for five straight Gold Cups and have reached the semifinals in three of the last four.

Honduras must be careful as upsets have already dominated the first day of the tournament. Coach Jose "Chepo" de la Torre's Mexican side continued to make a case for his removal from the side as the team lost 2-1 against Panama in its opening match; the Mexicans gave up a goal three minutes into the second half despite tying the game right before half time.

In the other Group A match, Martinique dominated Canada and managed a 1-0 victory. Despite playing with a rebuilding squad, Canada entered the match as the favorite to win.

Predictions: Haiti will not make life easy for Honduras. However, look for the Catrachos to pull off a 2-0 victory in their opening match.

Start Time: 9:30 PM EST
TV: The match will be broadcast on Fox Soccer Channel and Univision Deportes.
