"La Patrona" comes to an end on Tuesday on Telemundo and actress Christian Bach revealed that audiences will be surprised by the ending.
Bach told Terra.com that she was sad to leave her character but was happy with how the telenovela ended. She stated that her character Antonia Guerra will suffer by the end of the series and it will not be by going to jail going crazy or dying. She stated that that the loss of love and affection will be her character's greatest punishment. Bach added that the ending is something audiences have never seen before and that it really captures what a telenovela ending should always be like. She also revealed that one of the final scenes with Aracely Arambula is intense and that there are three endings to the series that will be seen in the same episode.
During the interview Bach said that during the filming of the series, Arambula and her actually slapped each other because she never likes to pretend while filming anything and prefers reality.
The ending of the series is one of the most anticipated finales in years and according to "El Diario las Americas" the ending of the novela will see the protagonists not live happily ever after. The online journal stated that the two characters will not be able to live happy after all the suffering they have gone through.
