Jenn Rivera's autobiography, "Inquebrantable: La Autobiografia," was released on Tuesday in the United States and Mexico; the same day the singer would have turned 44 years old.

The book contains a wide collection of the singer's own writings, songs and previously unseen photographs from her childhood, giving the deceased star the chance to tell her life story in her own words.

"When I started reading the book, I discovered many things I didn't know about; details about the rape [that she suffered], her feelings towards the sexual abuse I and Chiquis endured, details about her childhood I had never heard about before," her sister Rosie Rivera told People en Español.

The book, which is divided into 23 chapters, is the only authorized autobiography of Rivera and it is rumored to be the basis of an upcoming movie script that will tackle the life of the late Mexican singer-songwriter. "Inquebrantable" includes manuscripts that are reproduced in their entirety, including one about the abuse her children were subject to by her former husband.

"The book is of great value to her followers and family because it includes first-hand accounts on how she overcame the difficulties in her life," Cristobal Pera, editorial director of Random House, said about the book. According to Rivera's sister, among the stories that will impact the public are self-image issues the singer had because of her weight struggle and the battle to raise her five children on her own and of how secret she kept her one true love.

"I'm so happy because she kept that love secret for as long as she could. When she sang 'ay pelon' in all her songs, you'll finally know who she was talking about," Rosie said before clarifying that the singer was not referencing her last husband, athlete Esteban Loaiza.

Along with the book, the Rivera estate plans to release an album commemorating the career of the diva of the band, which will also be titled "Inquebrantable."
