With "Pokémon X and Y" set to launch in three months, an official strategy guide has appeared for sale Online.
The "Pokémon X & Y: The Official Pokémon Strategy Guide" is available for pre-order on Amazon.com for $17.99, which is down $2 from the original list price of $19.99.

The strategy guide features a complete walkthrough of the available Gym Badges and journey to the Pokémon League Hall of Fame. The guide also entails information on the new features in "Pokémon X and Y" such as the Sky Battles, Horde Encounters, and Pokémon-Amie.
Additional tips seen in the strategy guide are hints when challenging the Gym leaders, the new Player Search System (PSS), and type matchups when using the new Fairy-type Pokémon.
The purchase of the guide includes a screen cleaner for the Nintendo 3DS and a pullout map of the new Kalos region.
Amazon is also accepting pre-orders of the "Pokémon X and Y" games for $39.99.
The 256-page book will be shipped on the same day as the video games' launch on Oct. 12.
The availability of the strategy guide comes after the confirmation of the anime edition of the sixth generation launching on Oct. 17 in Japan featuring Ash Ketchum.
