Jessica Simpson and former NFL star Eric Johnson have just become proud parents to baby boy Ace Knute Johnson, Hollywood.com reports.
Their new baby came just 14 months after the couple's first baby, Maxwell Drew, was born.
In case you're wondering, it's pronounced Ka-nute. No one's sure yet where the name came from.
USA Today writes that the unsurprisingly cute Ace Knute was born via a scheduled C-section last Sunday. The news comes from Simpson's representative, Lauren Auslander, with the birth first reported by Us Weekly.
CBS News quoted Auslander as saying "Ace Knute Johnson has arrived! Mom and baby are doing great. Jessica, Eric and Maxwell are thrilled to welcome the new addition to their family."
Just recently, Simpson said that her pregnancy with Ace Knute was more difficult than with Maxwell.
Simpson let it slip that she was having a baby boy during an interview with Jimmy Kimmel, saying "I never knew that a wiener could actually make me nauseous!" She eventually said, "Well, I guess I just told the whole world I'm having a boy!" said Simpson.
Late last year, Simpson tweeted a photograph of Maxwell with the text "BIG SIS," confirming her pregnancy.
Simpson's baby shower for Ace Knute was Tom Sawyer-themed, along with "down-home décor, a Southern-style menu, and one very important request from the mommy-to-be: Thousand Island dressing at the salad bar!" writes ABC News.
According to Seattle PI, Simpson made waves when news hit that she had gained around 70 pounds with her pregnancy to Maxwell. After giving birth to Maxwell, Jessica signed up as a spokesperson for Weight Watchers and shed off around 60 pounds. Weight Watchers then tweeted, "Congrats to @JessicaSimpson, Eric and big-sister-to-be Maxwell! Your WW family is so thrilled for you. What an amazing year you've had!"
