"The Vampire Diaries" may be in its offseason, but its actors never rest. In a way, they're like the vampire they portray on the show. They're nocturnal. They're always hungry for more. Several actors, like Ian Somerhalder and Nina Dobrev, are working on feature films while others are expanding their reach even further. Kat Graham, who plays Bonnie on the show, is taking a stab at a whole new genre.
"The Vampire Diaries" actress debuted the music video for her latest single, "Power," exclusively on The Hollywood Reporter. The video marks the official launch of her music career and proves that there's more than meets the eye when it comes to our favorite vampires. Check out the rather risqué video below.
In the video, which is in black and white, Graham gets nice and cozy while snuggling up to a lucky man under the covers.
"The meaning behind 'Power' for me was to express that true power comes from within," Graham said during an interview with Billboard. "Someone can come into your life and unlock the door to your potential. For me, that was love, but it can be anything to anyone... It's a song that starts off with the feeling like you're just one of many, and someone forcing you to see that in the end there's only you."
"Power" won't be available for purchase on iTunes until July 23. Last year, Graham released her EP Against the Wall, which included the tracks "Put Your Graffiti On Me" and "Wanna Say." "Power" will likely be featured on her debut full-length album that is currently in the works.
While the album may be a far ways off, sick back and enjoy her "Power" video.
